Grilled Vegetable Sandwich
Meat eaters aren’t the only ones who can make tasty meals on the George Foreman Grill! Here’s a sandwich recipe for vegans and vegetarians.
Ingredients:
2 slices of bread (preferably an organic or whole-grain bread)
Sliced vegetables (e.g. mushrooms, courgettes, tomatoes, peppers, etc.)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp oregano
Directions:
Place one slice of bread on grill. Arrange the vegetables evenly on slice.
Drizzle olive oil over the vegetables, and add liberal sprinklings of oregano. Add second slice of bread to complete sandwich.
Grill for 2-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serves: 1
